Our plan
My granddaughter comes to visit us in LA from San Diego. Why not get her involved in 826 here? From doing archaeology in Echo Park to story writing in Venice, and Michelle is a BIG fan of 826LA. Michelle came with me to a meeting at The Ratkovich Company and talked about her experience. And then... they joined in and helped finish 826 Echo Park!
What we did
Clare de Briere of The Ratkovich Campany loves my granddaughter Michelle, heard Dave speak, asked her sub contractors if they could help, and everyone pitched in to make 826 in Echo Park come to life! They donated all the time, materials, brain power, and enthusiasm.
Our results
It helped Echo Park get done. It made Michelle, age 9, a buzz builder for 826. And it made LA a happy town.
